PHATCHANCE----Offshore 5-14

Fished way North with a fun group of guys on beautiful ocean, put lines in around 130’ on a thick weed line, one of the best I’ve seen since I’ve been fishing, foam, hard rip, trash, lumber and a little bit of everything else mixed in, as big as a football field and several miles long with a temp change from 71.2 on one side to 73.2 on the other. Caught 11 nice dolphin to 33 lbs and jumped off that many more. Color of choice was blue\white. Ran out of ballyhoo so we ran out deep to some bottom #'s and finished topping off the box with some bottom fish. Caught 2 nice Scamp, one 18lbs, one 11 lbs, kept 8 of the biggest silvers i’ve seen and prob released 30 more and one big trigger.Had several more nice grouper on and lost due to burying their heads in the rocks. Came in around 4 due to the lid on the fish not closing… Great day on the water, Going again Saturday if the weather works out.

Great day.
