If you are a finesse fisherman you will love them.
They’re shorter than other rods, with the lack of a reel seat it removes weight from the rod, also the direct attachment of the reel to the cork allows for a better feel.
They assist in winter fishing with cooler water temperatures due to the light trout bite when fishing artificals.
If you’re dock fishing with live bait they probably aren’t for you.
