Like so many problems these days, it’s caused by technology. I’m sure all of these are VOIP numbers, where there is absolutely no accountability. I know of a guy that was stalked off of Facebook and continually called with threats of blackmail that were totally false. Of course he got the cops involved, and they accomplished nothing.
