This is from an email I just sent to a friend. I figured I’d post here in case anyone is interested. We do something similar in the spring and it’s always a good time.

I’m trying to see if there would be any interest in a little “tournament” on the morning of Sat Aug 8th.
Tentatively thinking of something like this:
• Take off at first light. OK to be on the lake earlier to get bait and stay at that location till take off time (TBD).
• Weigh in at 11:00 am. I’ll see if Rod can get a spot on Pine Island. If not, meet on one of the islands. I can bring a grill.
• To keep the entry simple….Let’s say $10/per boat $3/person toward burgers and hot dogs. BYOB.
• Weigh in one fish/boat. Winning boat takes all for the big fish, by weight.
Please forward this to our Spring Tournament mailing list. I don’t seem to have it. I may have a few other boats interested also.

I can fish but cant make the weigh in gotta work on saturday. I could however send a representative of my boat to collect the prize money.
u catch a good one u can drop it off on my boat…i will be sure it gets weighed in

Shakey is running pretty good. It was water in the gas and the associated problems. I let her set too long, she likes to be ridden at least once a week. Wife and kids are in Pittsburgh so I’ll be out on the lake all weekend/week prefishing.

also steely; i know what you mean about shakey wanting to be ridden at least once a week. i had a girlfriend like that years ago. wanted the same thing and then i got married. LOL LOL
as i told you the other day tritton; i want to be included. do we just weigh in our fish or can we weigh in the aluminum also?

! Just trying to see how many folks/boats we can get into this so we can good fun with more folks and meet some new peeps. Sounds like it’ll be fun, and, fishing in the morning so maybe coolbreeze and I won’t bring in a lightening storm!
