yes; it was a good time had by all. the fishing was good. the catching was not. still; it was good to meet a lot of the people on the site. thanks to all of those that put it on. we maybe need to look at having another just like it in the fall when it is cooler.
as for the team lightning saga; we seem to be working things out. i am not leaving the compound and going to sullivan’s island. two reasons; i do not give up easily and two; i do not have a house on sullivan’s island. i still do believe that once a cheater then…you know the rest. just as soon as i leave town it will probably be a siting of them again.
steelytom is a super guy also. we have fished together a couple of times and actually caught fish. hmmmmmmmm…maybe i should look into a different partner. turn about is fair play. Now; HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL TRITTON? LOL LOL

Not gonna mention any missed fish-especially gars! Tim, thanks! The food was great and as well it was great meeting some of the folks who, like me, struggle to catch keepers. Great spot on the island for the cookout. I know you spent some time and effort on this and as Jim said, a great BIG THANKS!

Glad you guys were able to make it. That was one fun day on the lake. The catching may have been slow, but it was a great time getting together with some good people…and we had 2 kids that caught their first ever striper!!!
chip I have always used an el cheapo 8’ antenna on my boats and it works fine for my use on the lake…there may be some instances where a more expensive antenna may work beter in certain situations but overall I have been happy with mine. $.02
