Yes thats a Bonito in the third pic we were slow trolling it live. We also caught 6 mahi 5 yellowfin(all on top water plugs with spinning reels) and a 60 lb wahoo. My son did a great job with the camera and caught 3 of 5 yellowfin with the poppers.

Incredible FISH! Was that at Tropic Star? Fished there in Feb and got one little one about 250 after 5 days of drowing bonita. Panama is Awesome…Tropic Star is 1st class. How many days did yall fish

I was stationed there twice and plan to retire that way after the kids finish school … I’ve been telling my wife that I plan to buy a boat and cater to American tourists that want to fish … she thinks I’m kidding!
I’ve caught several marlin while I was there but NONE of them that big. 150lbs tops … just baby’s for me. Usually only set the lines for mahi and tuna bacause thats what I liked to eat.

We fished out of Boca Chica, fished 2 days with Captain Juan Spragge in a 32 foot Panga thank god it was flat.
