Just bought a new used 22’ key west and wanted to update my profile; how do I add a pic of my boat to my posts like everybody else does??

If you go to the “Off Topics” page, there are instructions on how to post pictures.
When I download my photos in Photobucket, I reduce them to 640 X 480. That way they’re not too huge on the message board.

Edited to say, for your avatar, your photo can’t be bigger than 96 X 96.(I think) Resize your photo and save it to your computer. Then when you go to your profile, choose “change avatar” and then hit browse, and find your resized picture. Click and it’s done.
