I recall Spring Break of 1993. My father and I wanted to go shrimping. It was way too early to catch anything, but he said he would let me practice throwing the net for a hour or so. We go to Pier Yankee on the Old Navy base. It was about this time of year. My 1st cast about 8 large shrimp. We couldn’t believe it. The next cast my net sank to the bott9m of the Cooper River. Somehow the rope just came undone from the swivel. I never had a chance to tey the spring again…
Sounds like my kind of luck LOL… I’m pretty sure you guys took me shrimping for the first time in my life in the early to mid 90’s…Thanks for that! Hope all is well old friend!
