Pig oil ( Wild hog lure )

Has anyone tried this product?
A few shift members were thinking about giving it a try , not being a food related item/substance would it be legal for use on government Lands etc .
Just seeking more opinions .

You can only use Salt/Minerals on WMA. Don’t believe Pig Oil qualifies as either.

That would be illegal on WMA as well.

It gets down to the definition of a mineral. Isn’t petroleum a mineral found naturally in the earth?

Minerals are inorganic,Petroleum is organic based, so no. DNR would claim you are placing a toxic substance or littering WMA if you used diesel fuel.

Placing a mineral block on WMA can be fined as littering too. DNR says to use minerals in liquid form only.

Finding hogs is easy hunting. Walk stalk until you smell a septic tank explosion and walk slowly toward it. There will be a hog upwind somewhere
