Anyone know where to find a good pink fishing rod? I am looking for a heavier spinning rod for the gf and they seem to be very hard to find. I have found light spinning rods and some pretty good trolling rods, but I am having trouble finding a heavier spinning rod.
The closest thing I have found to what I am looking for is a 15-50lb sailfish spinning rod custom built by Bryan Connley out of Florida, but the rod is mostly black with a little pink near the base. I am looking for something around that size, medium or medium heavy. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks
Any of the local rod builders could probably put one together for you. You could also build one together as a project, that way it’d be more than just another fishing rod to her. You can get kits online from Mudhole or I bet the local tackle shops could point you in the right direction.
I bought a pink St. Croix blank from Mudhole.com and built a pink rod for a lady, but I don’t think I’ve seen one on the shelf anywhere.

Angler’s Dream
Got Bryan Connley of Connley Fishing down in Florida to build me one. It is a heavier spinning rod used for sails down there, 7’ and 15-50lb line. The sample he showed me looks pretty cool, pink and white marbleized and can personalize the name on the rod. I ordered some hot pink braided line for it as well, I hope nobody catches me using it on camera haha
