Hey guys I was wondering how many of you have this boat, or even boats it’s size, and how far you venture offshore? what safety equipment other than typical GPS,VHF, and PVD’s… and any other good info about this boat? Also going to repost in Boats/Motors.
i got the 22ft ive been 35 miles out with it so far and would go farther i feel real good in it a couple of my friends have the 19ft

I take mine out as far as the sea will let me. Just like JOG says…you have got to pick your days but very carefully. The weather and seas can turn quickly. I try to limit myself to 30. I don’t want to be a statistic quite yet. I carry mounted VHF, GPS (of course), flares (aerial and handheld), water dye, mirror, whistle, canned air horn and 3 MRE’s. I keep my gear in an air/water tight Pelican case which could also serve as a life raft
