Anybody own one or have an opinion? Looking at something for jetty/nearshore(3-15 miles)Seems like a well built solid all around boat. TIA

You are correct, well built and solid. But to be honest I just don’t see why they are so expensive. I think a Sea Hunt/Key West/ Sea Pro etc can do everything the Pioneer can do for less. It seems to have a little less freeboard than those other ones and maybe a cramped console too. If you like it though go for it, it is a solid boat.

Depends on what you pay for a used one. I bought mine last july. I like it a lot the finish and layout is top notch.

Thanks for the input guys. 003 that is very useful info. that will aid in my decision. LC i certainly agree about the $. There are definitely boats in that class for less. I suppose i’m comfortable w/my local dealer who seems to be a straight shooter which is important to me.
