i had a pioneer 197 and i have been looking a 22 baysport. i never noticed before that the 22 bay doesnt have any rod holders in the back of the boat. it has two in each side of the hull but they are far up the gunnel, about even with the console. has anyone else noticed this and does it create a problem for bottom fishing? i really like the pioneer boat alot so im not critizing their design, it just seemed odd to me.
The 220 Baysport has a rear casting deck and we put the flush mount rodholders where you can reach them without having to step up there if in rough water. If you would like rodholders further back towards the stern, we can do that.
