Looking at this boat. It looks like a good hybrid to fish inshore (12" draft) to nearshore with the high Carolina flair in the bow. The 140 Suzuki seems to push the boat pretty good and gets great fuel mileage. What do you guys/gals think about this setup?

That boat is exactly what I am looking for. Just not ready to buy right now. I have looked at that online many times.
My opinion is that it is a great bay boat, or family boat, and I like the idea of the rod storage and the ability to walk on the gunnels. The wife likes the protected bow area, and it looks really dry. I also prefer to have the family sit down with me in the back instead of standing up around a console. As long as you can still stand up and pilot the boat comfortably it looks pretty good as a bay/flats boat.

Pioneer makes a great boat, much improved over the bone boat which was the original cape island 186. That being said, the cape island is more of a flats boat than anything else, especially towards the stern, with limited space to stand a move. I’m looking at a 197 or 220 right now myself, awesome boats for sure though.
