I’m contemplating selling my 21’6" Key West Bay Reef. I’m considering the Pioneer 197 as my #1 option as of this moment. If there are any owners located near to Hanahan that would let me check out their boat I would greatly appreciate it. Better yet, I’d love to ride in one or fish out of one that doesn’t have a dealer in it.

I’ve got a 08 Pioneer 197 with a Suzuki 150. I love my boat and fish it everywhere. I Have a trolling motor for inshore, and make frequent trips 35-40 miles offshore trolling/bottom fishing/diving. I don’t have a lot of free time for you to come look or fish, but I wouldn’t trade my boat for anything else in its size class.

Best 20ft center console for the $$$$ made today. 
With a 150 four stroke you will love only burning 20-30 gallons on most trips.
I have fished 4 or 5 different 197 sportfish’s in the ocean and have not seen a single thing on any of them break, crack, or screw up in any way. A lot of other boats I’ve been on literally break apart when you push them. I’ve pushed the pioneers as hard as I could stand it, and they weren’t phased.
They handle like a 22 or 23ft, and have a good bit of room in them as well. Design and layout are clean and functional. Family friendly without sacrificing too much room for fishing, too.
The guys on pioneerownersclub.com will point you towards folks who live very near you who own the 197. I think there are 2 or 3 guys from GC and Hanahan with 197’s who post on there.
