Does anyone know anything about fishing the old bridge at pitt st? It looks like it would be a great spot for reds but i was out there all day and had no bites. Also was wondering how the fishing is at the new boardwalk there at shem creek. I am determined to catch a fish from the shore before spring. Today i had live minnows fiddlers shrimp cut bait and squid. i had no bite on anything. not even a stingray at remley point.
Pitt St is nice during warmer weather. It’s pretty dead there right now.

You may be able to find a school of Reds there warming up on a flat but it is much better in the warmer weather. A carolina rig with a minnow or cut bait will find you a red. Shrimp on a cork will help you cover some distance if you let it drift.
