I am planning a trip to Charleston for Christmas and want to try saltwater fly fishing for the firate time. I am a novice trout/bass fisherman and have an 8wt I want to try out.

I have a few questions:

  1. What types of flies/leaders do I need?
  2. Where should I go to try to fish?
  3. What should I expect this time of year?
