plastic artificial colors

anybody want to share what colors have been hot for them this season?.I have been catching all my fish on the chartreuse swimming mullet gulp. Tried a few others but nothing has produced like the chartreuse.

Chicken on a chain and anything with a chartreuse tail has been working lately.

Last year about this time anything purple colored was working great.

When targeting trout the olors I always have on hand are:
Rootbeer with or without a chartreuse tail
white/pearl with green chartreuse tail
smoke
Green with orange tail

If I can’t get it done with these in addition to a glow DOA I go look for reds instead. I have only used one color for reds all year and that is Z-Man Houdini. Catches some nice trout too.

When I need a bright lure, it’s white, pearl white or glow for me. When I need a darker color, dark dirty green with or without chart. tail. If I’m throwing a jerk bait it’s saphire shine or chart. and white. I’ve got a ton of junk in my box, but could really scale down to just a few baits. DOA shrimp, grubs, jerk shad and zaras. In my opinion, it’s more about finding feeding fish or getting a reaction bite. I try not to stray too far from natural colors unless the water is really dirty.
