prayers Joe.

I have Crohns disease, was diagnosed when I was 10-11 years old. I have had MANY Colonoscopys. No big deal. like others said the worse part is the clean out the night before. But it is much better than it was over 30 years ago when I had my first one.

If possible, schedule it early in the morning. You can eat as soon as you want to after.

Umm, you gonna eat that?

Thousands have died to save my freedom. Only one has died to save my soul!

Prayers for you Joe. Thanks for the reminder to get checked.

Colonoscopies save lives. A guy that works for me just went through the same thing, still hasn’t come back to work yet. My mother-in-law wasn’t as fortunate several years ago.

Wish you the best recovery possible.

Prayers for you Joe. I also can not say enough that if you do not feel right go get tested. I am kinda in the same boat as Joe. I got really sick in Louisiana and docs could not find anything. Went to the doctor when I got home and had many more test done. And they did find the issue.

prayers your way, Joe! Let us know how it goes!

My mom didn’t get checked - colon cancer started her down the path that took her.

My bros and sis have all been checked since, and they found a form (not sure if right word) in my brother when he got checked at 40 that if undetected would have killed him by 50. He is 48 now, safe and gets checked annually. I think they were able to determine likelihood in him based on what they saw or something to that effect. Either way, had he waited…

Joe is dead on here,it is a subject guys just dont talk about but probably should. I agree with Joe, if just one of you gets checked, all these posts are worth it.

I had some blood in my stool…off and on for a while. Finally said something to my wife about it,she got me a dr appt. Found a tumor, had it removed, did 8 months chemo and now am 5 yrs clean,If they find it early, you have a real good chance of living cancer free for a long time,I was 48 when it happened and no family history. If you think something aint right, get checked…if it runs in your family, get checked before you are 50.

May have Surg next wed if they can squeeze me in.If not 2-3 Oct.Think I get the lap scope not a slice and dice.?? If no problems home in 2-3 days.

Joe, All will be well. You caught it early. Now if I need to I’ll come on down and take care of your new boat for you. You know, wash, wax, detail, take out daily to keep motor sound, and running, shrimp, wash, wax, detail… Get well soon!!!

Good for you finding it early! Prayers your way!
