Pole Anchors

I am looking at getting a pole achor for my boat, and was just looking for ideas on what everyone else is using… I am not rolling in that old Charleston $$$ like some of you guys and I am not rolling my mommy and daddy’s money either… So power poles are out of the question. Just looking for something in the 12ft range, and is not $1000 plus…

I use my 7ft anchor stick it pin, also use my 4ft cajun anchor quite often, both are very efficent and right around $100 each

Great products and Patrick will go out of his way to get you exactly what you are looking for for a very reasonable price.

I made a Cajun Anchor for my kayak out of a grounding rod.

I got a Stickit from Haddrell’s in Charleston. It is the 12 ft. model and it works great for my 21’ Bay Boat except in hard sand.

I like it!

Theres nothing like the "Smell" and sounds of the creek. Its not just one thing that makes it familiar..its all of it.

Thats funny you ask that, cause I will be in Beaufort all next week. I live in Charleston.

Friend of mine uses a 10’ long copper lightning grounding rod with a line attached.
Works pretty well; holds my boat in the creeks just fine.

Used my 10’ stickit anchor for the first time at Edisto last week. Best $130 I have spent. Super easy, super quiet. Only had it pull loose a couple time son falling tide with strong winds. If I had it to do over, I would have gone with 12’. I have a 22’ Bay Fisher. Love it.
