Has anyone ever purchased or fabricated a storage compartment to mount under your poling platform?
I’d like to have something there to store small tackle boxes for easy and fast access. All I’ve seen on line is the canvas bag that straps underneath the platform. I’d rather have something more rigid and sturdy but light weight at the same time.
I also searched these forums but didn’t see any previous posts on the subject.

I’ve heard of guys building a box under there. Don’t know of any prefabricated though.
Lowes sells various size sets of drawers for nuts and bolts that slide on a top rail.
5200 to the bottom of your platform and you are in biz.

I have a tbag strapped to the bottom of mine the small model that holds four life vests from Kwik tec. I like it as long as your not putting any thing to heavy in it should work good and frees up space for me.

Make sure you have clearance to get to the motor. When I trim my motor all the way up or take the cover off, I would not have room to mount something under the platform. Just a thought to keep in mind.
