Got an idea, but I’ve never seen it done. I would like a platform that basically spans the entire width of the back of my boat. My boat is probably too heavy to do a lot of poling, but it would give me a good place to fish from and the wife could lay out on it when we are out together. I would need the area above the small swim platform that hangs off the back of my transom to be able to hinge over and lay flat on top of the other part of the new platform to allow access into and out of the boat via the existing swim platform. Has anyone ever seen anything like this on a boat before? Who would be the person to talk to in Charleston to fabricate something like this?
