Mine on my t top need cleaning/ polishing badly. What is the best product for this. I heard Flitz will take the gold off. Thanks for any help.

Collonites color up is excellent for metal and not as abrasive as collonites metal wax, but both work very well. Once they are cleaned up, apply as coat of collonites insulator wax for a lasting shine

I second this totally. There is a product called the Hull Cleaner. It is the same stuff as bar keepers friend but it is in a higher concentration. Works great!

There used to be a product called Sheely Shine that was pretty good for anodized aluminum. I’m not sure if it’s still available though. I’ve used a VERY FINE bronze wool with Dawn dish soap with good results. Extra fine steel wool will work too, but don’t get too aggressive as you can wear through the anodizing. Also, rinse your boat thoroughly, the steel wool fibers will leave rust stains. If the oxidation is severe enough to cause pitting, there’s not much you can do with it.
