Pontoons?

I need to get 2 pontoons. Not the boat, just the loose pontoons. 10’ is the ideal length but anywhere that would work. Any ideas where to get them? Or how pricey they are?

What are you using them for, could possibly use some large PVC pipe with caps, depending on purpose.

How much weight do you reckon that’d support?
How would one go about securing said pontoons to a piece of Marine plywood?

Just took a quick look, Google PVC pontoon boats for some ideas, and see if that can help you. PM me if is something you could use, and I may have a connection on prices.

Most pontoons are 22’-24’. You’ll be hard pressed to find something in the 10’ range. What are you planning on doing?

you can get some plastic pipe ,maybe abs welded . have seen it done and would work great

Im gonna have to go PVC route, considering pontoos are pretty dang pricey. Im gonna have to go with at least 10’ and 12" wide piping. For 2 of those how much do yall think that would run. This is a fun ptoject, if it digs to deep in the wallet I’ll have to quit it

Find your local commercial plumbing supply. Use sewer pipe for larger diameters 8" and up.

Lowes has 12" PVC in 20’ length for $376. Could probably find it cheaper at a commercial plumbing supply house.
