fished Bushy Park for five hours and caught nothing but a bunch of 12-13" trout but when I got back to the ramp…a guy with one leg amputated below the knee was having motor problems and was trying to load his boat by himself and the wind was making it nearly impossible. His trailer didn’t have a winch, his motor wouldn’t trim up, and he just usually drove it up on the trailer. Teamwork along with a long rope I had and we got it done though it took multiple attempts and a good bit of time. Lots of laughing, no cussing, and I left knowing I had just had a great day!

Hopefully your help will lead to some good karma the next time you go out. My son and a friend went out of Bushy Thursday. Caught a few nice reds a flounder and quite a few gar.

This is what fishing is all about. Great job of reaching out to others. As the majority of us do we wave to one another in passing because we don’t know who’s up next to help us. I fished Friday in the harbor and caught 24 whiting and after a few calls only have a bag of three for myself.

too bad whiting don’t go up the rivers very far, good eating and if you are in the right place they are easy to catch
