Best night of topwater in a while…few fish in the 6/8# range. Probably could have caught a lot more with the Sometin’ Else, but poppers are hard to put down sometimes! One cast a 12" greenie and the next a 8# striper. Great evening to be out.
I’ve never caught …well never tried to catch a striper since I’ve been living in SC.
Where did ya catch that guy at?..approx location…surf, river, stream, brackish?
Don’t know where to look for them?
when I read the title I thought the story was going to be about a gansta gone mad at a gentleman’s club:smiley:
Far better it is to dare mighty things to win glorious triumphs even though checkered with failure, than to take ranks with those poor spirits who never enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
With the cooler night time temps it will only get better, I am hoping for a few gray days in the near future to keep the fish up top and playing longer.
Hey reel Karma, I just moved back to Lake Murray. If you fish it often give me a call as I have yet to find anyone else who is fly fishing the lake. I have the boat tied to the dock and a fair amount of free time. PM me if you are interested.
