popping cork

I have been very set in my ways with bottom fishing in inlets out of our jon boat using Carolina rigs, old double rigs and premade flounder rigs. My wife and I have recently bought a center console and made the switch to saltwater fishing and left the freshwater alone. I have been reading and asking questions and considering taking a local guide for inshore fishing. But an experienced friend took me fishing and said we are going to concentrate on plastics with jig heads and popping corks. I have had a pile of luck using the popping cork with shrimp and cought spieces I have never cought. so I thought I would share my newby expierience with yall and open this up to more tackle tips and methods…

Most n here will be happy to give you some tips…and then there’s always the free seminars at haddrells.

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.
