Portable Cellphone Charger

I have seen a few different portable cellphone chargers but, most of the reviews are not all that great. Does anyone use one of the small, portable chargers? Can anyone recommend a good one?

Thanks

FD, are you talking the ones you plug into a 12 volt outlet or a 120 volt house outlet? I use both and just got the one that came with the phone for the house and bought a 12 volt for my truck! Never had any trouble with either one! I think I paid like $27 bucks for the 12 volt one.

The ones that you charge up and then carry with you. Kind of like a quick charge for when you don’t have an outlet handy.

Like this.

I have a few cheapo ones the were free at conference. They work well. Basically just an extra battery.

I got the one by motorola from Verizon. It’s nice to have on the boat during the day aside from my regular 12 volt charger. Going thru Verizon I paid more then I probably should have, but the quality of the item has been great. On a full charge the backup will charge my phone and still have a little left. It’s also good to take in to the ballgame and not have your phone die on you. Here is a picture, it’s about the same size as an iPhone

I like the ones from Anker. The PowerIQ feature automatically matches the output of the charging port to the ideal charging amperage for the device you connect to it resulting in a faster charge. My older portable charger doesn’t do this, and it’s caused problems in the past.

I’ve got a 12k mAh battery now, and it’ll charge my phone 4 to 5 times before I have to top it off. These things are cheap on Amazon.
