I’m looking for a little bit of help. I recently bought a couple of used kayaks for my family to use. I have been putting them in the water around high tide on an old berm that extends into a small creek behind my neighborhood. However, if I paddle for too long, it is very difficult to get the yaks back up the bank due to the pluff mud, oysters, bricks, etc on the bank of the berm. Otherwise, it’s a great place with access to some good creeks and a river for paddling and fishing. I read on one forum to keep a 10’ roll of indoor/outdoor carpet on hand to use at the launch point. I was wondering if anyone else had any good ideas.
The carpet idea sounds good…
I guess I need to go find a roll and see what happens. Will keep you posted.
I sell carpet and may have some at the store. Sherwin Williams FC off of Peppermill Parkway. Let me know if interested
That would be great. It may be next week before I can get by there though. Will send you a PM. Thx.
