The “my great grandaddy found oil” field.

It’s good work if you can get it.

Money money money, lot more to life then that. Seen WAY too many unhappy people with more money then they know what to do with. Will be the first to say it’s nice to have some for sure, but it sure dosen’t buy happiness. Seems we’ve become a nation based on incomes and possesions not morals and beliefs. Sure the toys are nice to have, boats, trucks, etc… but some of my fondest memories in my life have cost the least to aquire and will last a lifetime. Was brought up that a gentleman didn’t discuss his money matters publicly.
Not directed at anyone whatsoever, just my $.02 worth of ranting on the whole issue.

You must be poor. Us rich folk like to talk about our money.

In all seriousness…it’s the people that are already retired that I feel for.

People that are still working that lost a lot of their portfolio can bounce back over time. It’s the people that no longer have an income that I feel the worst for.

LOL,{If he only knew} You’re generalizing WAY too much when you say “Us rich folk like to talk about our money”

Actually greg1, I didn’t direct the comments at anyone in particular and made a point to state that in my original post but now that you opened the can with the comment to me I will say that you are the first one I ever seen on here to actually post dollar amounts in refrence to thier portfolios, most just say they lost or made x% or so. That’s just how I was raised that it was in very poor taste to discuss financial details publicly. In my opinion you sir are the poor one.

Well Russ, you’re certainly the biggest fish I’ve caught this year.

Turkey and Swiss has the right idea.

Congrats on your catch then. I wish I could say I caught a 6’3" fish that weighed 210lbs this year but the fish gods weren’t as cooperating offshore for me
