Post Rain water Temps

I noticed today that NOAA report says Charleston Harbor water temp is 70.
Just before the rain it was in the upper 70’s. I have kept a fishing log book for many years and it shows that most years inshore water temps didn’t drop at or below 70 until sometime around the end of Oct. or 1st week of November. Are they likely to rebound ?
Thanks.

Ocean temps are higher just offshore, so yes, the temps inshore will come up some until the next major cold front.

I appreciate the info Rad.

not until the runoff has stopped, rain is why the water temp dropped.

With 12 days left of cresting, could stay right around 70…

On Sunday the water temps in the Cooper/Yellowhouse area were around 71.

On Monday the water temps on the Wando near 526 bridge were around 74.
