Power Pro and Leader Material

Ok so I broke down and put some power pro on my reel, along with some backing to prevent the slippage. I am using the 10# power pro.

Now my question is , Mono or flouro, and what pound test? this is for the inshore and freshwater.

I’d use 8# fluoro, rather lose a leader than a bunch of braid. I like fluoro’s abrasion resistance compared to mono.

yup id go with fluoro too, stuff is tough and has lower visibility…
