Power Trim not consistent Yamaha f200, 2014.
Trim will work normal, then it will not. Sounds like motor is bogging. Fluid is full.
Suggestions.
It is almost always the solenoid. A new one is under $100, I saw one on ebay for $39 plus shipping just a few minutes ago.
Here is a good video on how to troubleshoot your unit before buying another one.+ It’s a really simple at home replacement, even if you have limited skills.
But like I said, its almost always the solenoid.

Turns out it was the pump. Used VM and there was 12 +v to the pump. If I manually turned the axle, it would turn slowly.
Ouch, the switch would have been a heck of a lot easier to replace, and a bit cheaper too.
8 years on a saltwater pump, probably not too shabby.
