I guess I just can’t help myself. Do you know what the letters LGBTQ stand for? If so, can you please explain why you’re talking about premarital sex and pedophiles? I’m going to make a wild comment here, but I bet many of the people you know as good heterosexual Christian folks have had premarital sex. I’d also be willing to bet that after doing a quick unbiased search of the internet involving recent legal cases with pedophilia, you would find the accused was not part of the LGBTQ community. Again you’re baselessly associating them with evils that have nothing to do with what this thread is debating. Keep trying though.

Wow, you just confused me. I thought two dudes could be gay? I thought gay referred to male and female?
You also left of the Q, was that by choice or accident? Some groups use LGBTQQ the two Q are for queer and questioning. Did you also know that some us LGBTI?
I’m not closed mined, actually I’m very open minded in my opinion that gayness is wrong. It is something I’ll never accept In many gatherings I do have to tolerate it. But will never accept it.

I feel like I’ve said all I possibly can. This thread started off with what I assume were good intentions by Fred. I agree with him, by the way, that our country and those victims in Las Vegas are in need of prayer. If your personal or religious beliefs lead you to regard homosexuality as a sin, then so be it. I’m in no position to tell another person what they should or shouldn’t believe, and that was never my intention. However, as someone who has friends and family, whom I love, that fall within each “category” of the LGBT community, I feel the need to speak up in their defense when they are wrongfully thrown in with groups of criminals like people who sexually assault children, or are equated with the evils that allow shootings in our country. It would be unjust to label someone a racist simply because they are a white man living in the south. Likewise, it is unjust to equate a person with criminals based solely on who they love or how they view themselves. I apologize if my strong feelings on this subject led me to say something offensive to anyone, but these are the conversations that need to be had more often to promote a mutual understanding between people with different beliefs, even if you can’t reach a consensus on the beliefs themselves.
