I hate to open the box on politics but I read a good artical on the keepamericafishing.org website. This really exposes some differences in the candidates and Federal fishing regulations. Look at the section on closures…

I love it when politicians and government get involved in recreation and tourism. Flathead Lake Montana, outside of Glacier National Park is huge on tourism and vacationers. They used to have a ton of Bald Eagles that fed off the Kokanee salmon. Fish Wildlife and Parks (FWP) wanted to increase the number of eagles in the area, so they introduced some type of shrimp into the lake as a food source for the Kokanee. Unfortunately, shrimp ate the same food supply as Kokanee and killed them all off, instead of feeding them. Didn’t take long for all the eagles to leave as well. Think FWP moved to Detroit to help out GM, the smarter ones in DC working on Fannie Mae.

Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

I though of this when I saw the title of this post

I’m so salt life I sued google earth for giving away all of my fishing spot’s.

They all suck balzz…W is the dumb azz clod That put us in this situation. The state’s calling b.s. and refusing to enforce it is the only thing that will fix it.

Thanks for sharing this, I know I picked the right guy for fishing too. He spoke of family and what we fisherman and fishing does for the economy. Great picture
