Are the water depths good in this inlet? Headed south this weekend to take the kids riding and wanted to take them in that area. Don’t go past bulls bay much. Any suggestions?
you will be fine with the depth, but boat traffic is another thing:

BE careful near the moorings that are set out. On the ocean side about 100 yards from the last mooring the depth was 1 foot at low tide last Saturday. The bar wasn’t very big and is “outside” of the main channel but still surrounded by deep water.
I may have just given a fishing spot away there as well.
