Picked up the Pro Angler today and as soon as I was able to remove the packing and put the seat on I heading out to Lucy Creek to give it a try. Granted I might be a bit bias towards Hobie, but I can honestly say this is a great kayak. It turns on a dime and is much faster than anticipated. The amount of room is amazing, and the ease of fishing out of this kayak is great. Really enjoyed being able to stand up and cast, altough I do need a longer paddle for when I’m standing.

Make sure you keep your hatches closed, especially in rough weather.

He made more than one mistake.
There is nothing - absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Kenneth Grahame
Thats a story right there.
does it come with a trailor:smiley:
seriously… how do you load/unload the boat
The guy made a lot of mistakes and was lucky the ending was not worse. It’s never a good thing to leave the hatches open much less when the weather gets bad. They should have checked the weather before heading out. The fact it was his first time in a kayak and they head offshore. There is not subsitute for good judgement.
Cut I just pick it up and throw it in back of the truk.
Well in truth I back up to the ramp and slide it into the water. When ready to head home just paddle up to ramp put the wheels on and pull it to truck.
