are there any kind of wax or spray on products out that to you can apply to deck of boat to protect it from sun and oxidation?

Woody Wax. Comes in a blue aluminum can. Wet non skid, apply with a very soft bristled brush, let sit for 30 min or so and hose off.

It is easy to put on a deck. Squirt it on a deck brush and spread it around on the deck while it is still wet after you washed it. Let it dry a little then go over the deck with towels to rub the excess off. Water beads off the deck then and it is not slick.

Woody Wax was giving away free samples. Go to their web site and see. Even though I already knew it was fantastic stuff I requested some samples. Got sent 3 or 4 pre waxed sponges. Considering the stuff is 30 + bucks a bottle the cost of the samples probably retails for 10$.

Ditto on the Woody Wax. I use it on my non-skid and it seems to put a barrier down that makes it easier to clean. Not cheap though.

Woodys is good, no doubt. Nu Finish is also good and costs less than $10 bucks at the auto parts store. Very similiar texture to woodys,not slick, applies really easy and is not a wax but a polymer that last a long time. I saw this on the hull truth before trying it.

I went to their site and did not see it either. I wrote them through there contact us section. They wrote me back the next day and told me my sample was on the way.

Thanks D.S. for the info on the Nu Finish. Seems like that would be the best way to go, esp for the price. Has anyone else tried the Nu Finish? Opinions?
