Project Healing Waters at Dorn Medical Center

For anyone who is interesting in learning about Project Healing Waters (PHW) or wanting to get involved working with a Chapter in Columbia SC, there will be a presentation this Monday at the Saluda River Trout Unlimited Meeting (8/9). The presentation will be given by Ryan Harman of WNC-PHWFF. The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in PHW or TU. Information on the meeting place and time (7:00 PM) can be found here: http://www.saludatu.org/. Additional information about Project Healing Waters can be found here: http://www.projecthealingwaters.org.

The person posting this is not a representative of Project Healing Waters or Trout Unlimited. I am just interesting in trying to get the two organization to work together and get a chapter of PHW started at Dorn Medical Center. Hopefully this great organization can be brought to Columbia. Thanks in advance for the letting me use this thread for an announcement.

We have a kayak fishing tourney in October for Heroes on the Water so if you have any injured vets that would like to come fish gimme a hoot! There is no cost for them for the tourney. HOW pays all fees and such for them and buys them lunch and supper afterwards
