Prop Question- Suzuki 140's on 26 Twin Vee

I just repowered my 2001 26 Twin Vee with new Suzuki DF 140’s. Different gear ratio than my old Suzuki 115’s, I haven’t found the right prop and was hoping someone had been thru this before and could let me know what they are running. My old 14 x 22’s are not turning up enough. I have a pair of Power Tech 13.5 x 21 on order.

BTW - The 2001 Suzuki 115’s are for sale if anyone is interested.

My 2005 26’ Twinvee CC at first had Suzuki 140’s…I had 19 pitch props SS on it and it was perfect WOT I could get 6200 rpms and low 40’s,cruise at 4600 rpm was 30 mph.
On average 1 prop size = 200 rpm differance…

Do you know if your 2005 140’s had a 2.38 or 2.59 gear ratio. They changed at some point to 2.59 which is what I have. I tried a pair of Power Tech TSO3 13.5 x 21 and while they turned up to 6200, I only got 38 mph at WOT and had to push 5000 to get 30 mph.

Yours must have been 2.38. I guess I’m going to try a pair of Suzuki 14 x 22’s. Pretty disappointing that I am getting worse performance with 140’s than I was with my old 115’s.

What gear ratio did the 2004 four stroke have?

My 140’s were 2003 models…I beleive they were 2.59 ratio

They are mounted in the bottom hole, as high up as they will go, same as my old ones.
