Guys what size & type hook work best w/ gulp shrimp?

all depends on the set up you want and the size of the gulp shrimp you buy. Personally i like a 1/4 ounce jig head to a 4" shrimp. Molten color is the only color i have used and it worked. But i know some guys use them on a flutter hook (which i dont know when the appropriate place to use them in) or circle hooks. I have used a carolina rig with 1/0 circle hook and a gulp and that worked well too.

Im still waiting on my first gulp catch. I know it works cuz the crabs love it! I will try the 1/4 jig head and just slow bounce on the bottom and carolina rig with the same retrieve. What colors have worked best for ya’ll?

white, watermelon, or saphire colors never fail… for gulp jerk shads

Now it was january when i was catching a decent amount of reds(2 days before that epic cold snap) with a gulp shrimp under a popping cork and a 1/4 ounce jig head. But it worked well.
