What do the marine places put over the welds on the ttops and such? I had my uncle weld some plates on the ttop for outriggers and want to put the stuff on them before I re-string the canvas.

I think a quart might be a bit too much paint. I get the pint cans and use an air brush. The can I have is over a year old and still at least half full.
