PSA Striper Report

The striper bite on the lakes is heating up as the temperatures drop, with many boats reporting catches in the dozens! Over the course of the last week, our Fishing Associate, Courtney, had 20-30 fish days, even maxing out at almost 60 one of the days. Courtney said the go-to bait was Storm’s 5” Wild-Eye Swim Shad. The biggest striper measured 29” and Ms. Courtney also managed to land an 8.5lb largemouth during one of the outings. Nicely done!

Holy cow that bass looks like a 15 pounder

Nice green fish! Hope you released the first one!

How are you catching those fish, trolling, casting, or drifting?

Good report!

Thanks! Court got on a huge school of them and was casting the Storm’s 5” Wild-Eye Swim Shad. Yo-yoing the bait was the preferred method it seemed like. Most fish were caught when the bait was falling. Hope this helps!

Didn’t work Tuesday. Beautiful day, tho.
Lots of fish on sonar but not eating.

Love to hear, “Let’s go fishing, Grandbuddy”!

Yes, it does. Thanks for the tip.
