Took 2 days off and since I hunted solo all day kid free that was the plan for day 2, but on the water instead. Wifus canned that plan by saying honey i need you to take the kids to school, so by doing so my outgoing tide was missed. So i stalled some waiting for the tide to turn and headed out. Immediately found several reds on a flat but they weren’t having arties today. Focused on trout next after i got some water flowing and began to pick away at them here and there from Wando to Cooper. Also had 2 nice flounder on and got to the boat but the hook pulled since they weren’t inhaling the baits. Only out for about 4 hours tops since i had to rush back to take one youngen to softball! I still got it!!!
Not bad, especially considering all the monkey wrenches that got thrown in your plans.

Way to go man! Can’t wait to burn my extra PTO we just found out got changed to use it or lose and no rolling it over… this shut down will end today, then it’s on!

Some times we plan our lives, some times our lives plan for us. The kiddos dictated a lot of what I did when they were young but it was always worth it. Looks like it was still a nice day on the water.
