Plan to come down in a few weeks to fish the jetties. Staying on Johns Island. Is there a closer boat ramp than Wappoo Cut to use to go to the jetties? Is there a public ramp at Fort Johnson?

That would be the closest unless you want to drive to mount pleasant then you could argue that Remelys might be closer. The only ramp at down at fort Johnson is the JIYC and you have to be a member. If I was you I would stick to wappoo cut to avoid the mount pleasant mess

Wappoo isn’t that far from John’s Island depending on where you are staying. I think that would be your best bet.
Your landings from johns island would be limehouse landing, then on James island Plymouth landing, then the wappoo on James island. The shortest trip by boat to the jetties would be Remlys in mt. P. Remlys is the easiest to launch from then wappoo or limehouse but the tide can be bad at wappoo. It depends if you want to tow the boat farther or ride in the boat farther. By water Plymouth landing and wappoo are about a mile a part.
