Hello, I have lived in Charleston my whole life and have been fishing since I was a toddler. I live in west Ashley and have many spots that have produces fish almost year round. However, in almost all of these spots during the summer its is nearly impossible to fish without having catching tons of Ladyfish. I know that folly creek is a good option in the summer. Any other places or just tips to help me find the righ spot (inshore) to fish in spring and summer?
Always love the view and fishing at Demetre Park on Charleston Harbor next to James Island Yacht Club

Thanks, any advice for fishing there

Has a long public pier and two beaches you can fish from. Catch just about anything out there. I have caught everything from sharks, whiting to trout and red drum. Just depends on how you want to fish. The regulars out there are always a good source of info.
Riverfront Park near the old navy base in North Charleston is on the Cooper River. Lots of good fishing there; not many people fish it either. They have great boardwalks that extend out to the water allowing you to fish in many many different places.
