pulling a tube with twins???

Seems like evrytime on the way in, someone wants to jump on the tube!
Problem is, i haven’t figured out the best way to tie the rope to the boat without hitting the cowling when they get thrown into the whip… when it is time for them to relinquish command of the tube.

Boat has a euro style transom, where all the cleats are far forward, and i don’t trust the T-top for that strain.

The tiedowns on the transom are a pain in the azz to get to in the water, and very close to the engines.

I have tried the tie to one cleat… hit the cowling, and keeps the tuber in the wake.
Tried to make a bridal from one cleat on each side, than the tube tied off in the middle… still hits the cowling on a turn.

I know this is a dumb question on a fishing site, but you all i sure have caused plenty of bruises on the way in from fishing.
Thanks

You have a couple of eyes on the back of the boat? If so there is a thing you can buy that has a roller on one end and an eye on the other. Get this thing and run a lenght of rope through the roller and tie it to the boat. It stays low and swivels around the motors.

reading your post just ruined the pictures of twins on a tube I felt sure would be here when I clicked…

and yes, you should check out Overton’s or someplace similar for what coot recommends above…
