Pulled mine the other day for repair. No short cuts. Had to unrig all electronics, batteries, steering. Unbolt/pry off deck center console. Cut 8x 4 hole in deck. Remove fuel tank with help of chain hoist and makeshift gantry. Got tank repaired. Now have to rebuild deck( taking time to make some needed modifications) and rebuild everything. PM me if you have any specific questions.
Had to do mine this spring. Not a CC, but dual console. Like skulls, had to disconnect all wiring, steering, and fuels lines. Remove both consoles (you only have one). I was very lucky my hull has a screwed down sole plate over the fuel tank hold. 'Was able to cut the sealant and unscrew. You may have some cutting and glassing to do unless you’re similarly lucky.
The good news is that you’ll have a pretty good idea of how well your boat is put together. I used my tear-down as the opportunity to install a second battery setup and new main switch, pulled new wires to my bilge pump, bow and anchor lights, etc.

Can you open the access plate and stick a wand down to suck out the junk instead?
Thanks, Captain Ross
