We are going in June on a father/son trip. Has anyone chartered out of Punta Cana? If it is like a side trip for a cruise ship we will skip it but if it is real fishing might be worth it.

It’s been a few years, but we went on a half day with Mike’s Marina Fishing Charters while there. We admittedly did not catch a ton (3 or 4 barracuda if I remember correctly), but it wasn’t for lack of effort or prep. Top notch operation overall. They picked us up at NOW Larimar and drove us over to the marina and then brought us back after. Looks like they have mixed ■■■■■■■■ on tripadvisor recently though for what that’s worth.
Great bill-fishing at Casa De Campo, I’ll be down there March 8-12. Most boats are releasing multiple fish a day.
