I finally decided to add a trolling motor to my 18’ flats boat. Looking at the minn kota 80lb thrust model with I pilot and quick connect plate. I would install it myself. Where is the best place to purchase one considering price and service. Any suggestions locally or online would greatly be appreciated.

I don’t think there’s really any deals to be had on those. I would just buy from someone local that is also an authorized repair center…just in case. Let us know how it turns out…I’m close to pulling the trigger on one for my flats boat as well
